Talon
Low Water Salmon are hooks made to Talon's requirements/standards
in Japan and or Korea, and finished in traditional Japanese
black.
They
are designed to hold a 60 lb. leaping Salmon, however, they
have proven themselves very clever staying attached to Australia's
Barramundi. Bass patterns also improve their swimming action
with the use of a Salmon hook.
We
have tried a number of Trout flies using these hooks with
wonderful success, to date the best pattern is the old stand
by, the Mrs.Simpson.
These
Hooks have a slight springing effect built into their shanks
and a short point, ideal for penetrating hard bony mouths.
