Ghost Fiber
A unique fiber that allows for tapered look by pulling and breaking of the Ghost Fiber. Ghost Fiber is suitable for streamers in both big and small sizes, freshwater and the saltwater.

Roman Moser Ghost Fiber is a polypropylene material that does not absorb water at all. This material can be pulled out of the strand like cotton wool and this will create the taper. The fibers can be used to build frogs, bait fish, caddis and dry fly wings.
The fluoro colours are ideal for building your own indicators !

RM Ghost Fiber is available in both Fine and Course types.

Some notes on Roman Moser Ghost Fiber fly tying material :-

Ghost Fiber is pure Polproylene and does not absorb water like Polyamind, eg Antron. Ghost Fiber is stiffer and MORE translucent in water than most other synthetic fibers normally used in fly tying.

Ghost Fiber is lighter in water and this material ideal for your own dubbing blends and winging material for dry flies.

Ghost Fiber is not a continous fiber like most of the other synthetic fibers available and consists of single fibers in a length of 15cm and these can be pulled out like cotton, along its length, this will then produce a tapered body shape.

Ghost Fiber is a substitute for all types of hair type materials because it can be pulled out to for a taper, just like natural hairs.

Always use, build with small amounts of Ghost Fiber at a time and layer the Fiber up, this then allows you to use different colours to form strips or lines along the fly.
