This beautiful fly tying material is the Russian/Finish type which is a different animal to the North American type of Raccoon.

The hair is beautifully long and soft with a transpency that is only matched by Polar Bear for its movement in water.

Talon Raccoon Body rates the next best 'thing' after Polar Bear by many British and Europeans! Considered the soft version of Polar Bear. Russian/Finnish Raccoon, and is really from the dog family in Russia. The hair is softer than that of the Arctic fox.

We beleive that this form of Raccoon will one day become the standard in all Saltwater tying with its amazing transpency and movement in the water.
