8kms to the southeast of Russell Island. This beautiful
area is called Jumpinpin. It is good for camping
and great fishing. Further south is easy access
to the northern half of the Gold Coast via the Broadwater,
and onto the Nerang River and the canal system.
On a good day you could get from Surfers Paradise
to the southern end of Russell Island in just over
30 minutes by boat. |
