No,
the image is not to scale, of course, each spool holds
80yds of magic Glow in the Dark Thread, we were trying
to capture the glow coming from the spool.
Now
why use GiD Thread?
The
normal thinking is, only use GiD thread/colours
in
the dark, but why, once your fly is down a few meters,
the light levels are reduced, then GiD starts to shine,
fished on a fly during the sunlight hours the thread
still produces a raditaion we cannot see, however fish
see something which triggers a responce and this is
for a meal.
Have
you ever seen a video or the real thing where a preditor
attacks a school of baitfish and selects one single
fish in the school, this unlucky baitfish was displaying
something that attracted the predators attention, this
is how GiD attracts fish to your fly, by displaying
the raditation of ghostly green white.

On nymphs, how can a Trout select your nymph out of the
hundereds that wash pass? With legs and GiD added, because
its on the underside, the darkest area on your fly then
watch him turn and select your fly. Yes, we know the use
of this material will make Traditional tiers cry foul, but
if your desire is to hook fish, use it and enjoy your fishing.
Uses,
wrapped as a body material, as a tail, instead of red in
the gills area, unwound and used as legs in a nymph or as
a wing case.
If you
haven't added and used this material in your flies, you
in for exciting times ahead. Rainbows to Tarpon to Tailor,
find the Glow something which they must eat. Other fishs
do also. Why haven't you have'nt discovered the thread yet
?

Just
a thought from Uncle Barry :
If you stay calm while all around you is collapsing, possibly
you are missing something!!
